Addressable Fire Detection Systems

As SF Fire & Ventilation Systems, our addressable fire alarm systems are advanced, microprocessor-controlled fire detection and alarm solutions designed for precise detection, intelligent monitoring, and reliable fire safety management in complex and large-scale facilities.

System Compatibility

The addressable fire alarm panel is compatible with a wide range of field devices, including:

  • Analog addressable smoke detectors
  • Heat detectors
  • Beam-type smoke detectors
  • Flammable gas and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Addressable indoor and outdoor manual call points
  • Field control modules
  • Short-circuit isolators
  • Indoor and outdoor audible/visual alarm devices

Loop Capacity and Wiring

  • Up to 200 addresses per loop
  • Loop length support: up to 2000 meters
  • Cable type: 2-core 1.5 mm² fire-resistant cable

Each device (detector, call point, control module) is assigned a unique address.

Key principles:

  • Short-circuit isolators are not addressable
  • They protect the loop against short-circuit faults
  • Devices on the same loop operate independently
  • Failure or removal of one device does not affect others

System Architecture and Communication

  • No physical interconnection required between loops
  • Devices from different loops can participate in automation logic
  • System can operate standalone or as part of a distributed network
  • Network communication ports enable multi-panel integration
  • Prevents total system failure in case of a fault
  • Enables centralized monitoring and alarm management from multiple locations

Panel Features

The panel is fully microprocessor-controlled and provides advanced monitoring capabilities:

  • LCD display showing all system faults
  • Zone-specific fire indicator LEDs
  • Backlit alpha-numeric display
  • Local audible warning device
  • Real-time display of device status (isolated/not isolated, analog value, location, and assigned area name)

Additional Functions

  • Optional mini thermal printer support
  • System time retained even during total power loss
  • Separate day/night operation modes
  • Pre-alarm function for early intervention before audible alarms activate
  • Continuous monitoring of detector contamination level (“Service Required” warning)
  • Continuous supervision of all cables for faults such as open circuit, short circuit, and earth leakage
  • Event memory storage up to 500 events
  • Software programming and backup via computer interface
  • Secure password protection for unauthorized access prevention

Power Supply and Backup

  • System operates on 24 V DC
  • Powered via a 220 V AC, 50 Hz main supply unit
  • Maintenance-free sealed battery backup system
  • Automatic switchover during mains failure

Backup performance:

  • At least 24 hours standby operation
  • Followed by 30 minutes of full alarm and control operation

Addressable Repeater Panel

  • Installed in security rooms or control points
  • Provides full duplication of main panel functions
  • Enables monitoring of all alarms and faults
  • Includes zone-specific LEDs, alpha-numeric display, and local audible alarm

Addressable Optical Smoke Detectors

  • Sensitive to particles between 0.5 – 10 microns
  • Photoelectric light scattering principle
  • Transmits analog smoke levels to the panel
  • Resistant to environmental effects such as temperature, humidity, and dust
  • Plug-in design for easy maintenance
  • Detection coverage: up to 100 m²

Addressable Heat Detectors

  • Microprocessor-controlled semiconductor sensing element
  • Configurable as fixed temperature or rate-of-rise detector
  • Adjustable alarm thresholds: 60°C / 77°C / 90°C
  • Fast thermal response housing design
  • Detection coverage: up to 50 m²

Addressable Combined Smoke + Heat Detectors

  • Simultaneous detection of smoke and heat
  • Dual-function operation (independent or combined logic)
  • RGB LED indicators (green, yellow, red)
  • Continuous communication with the control panel
  • Detection coverage: up to 100 m²

Addressable Manual Call Points

  • Microprocessor-controlled manual alarm devices
  • Available in surface-mounted and flush-mounted versions
  • Break-glass or resettable types
  • Testable without breaking the glass using a test key
  • Designed for safe manual activation

Addressable Audible & Visual Devices

  • Powered directly via loop wiring
  • Available as sounder, beacon, or combined units
  • Sound levels:
    • 87 dB (low)
    • 93 dB (medium)
    • 101 dB (high)
  • Fully programmable via the panel

Monitoring and Control Modules

  • Used for sprinkler systems, alarm inputs, and general fire safety devices
  • Support normally open and normally closed contacts
  • Microprocessor-controlled modular design
  • Expandable system architecture

Control Modules

  • Used to activate audible alarm devices
  • Programmable continuous or pulsed output operation

SF Fire & Ventilation Systems delivers intelligent addressable fire alarm solutions with high accuracy, continuous system supervision, and maximum reliability, ensuring advanced fire safety for modern infrastructures.
