Atmospheric Foam Tank

SF Fire & Ventilation Systems provides atmospheric foam tank solutions used in foam fire suppression systems as an alternative to bladder tank systems.

Unlike bladder tanks, atmospheric foam tanks do not use an internal diaphragm. As the name suggests, they store foam concentrate directly under atmospheric pressure without any internal separation mechanism.

To mix the foam concentrate into the fire protection system, external proportioning equipment is required. This is typically achieved using foam pumps or venturi-type proportioning (blending) systems, which ensure the correct mixing ratio between water and foam concentrate for effective fire suppression.

Compared to bladder tank systems, atmospheric foam tanks are generally more cost-effective, making them a preferred solution in many industrial applications, especially where large foam storage capacities are required.

SF Fire & Ventilation Systems delivers atmospheric foam tank solutions with a focus on accurate proportioning, reliable system integration, and full compliance with international fire protection standards.
