Air Sampling Smoke Detectors

High-sensitivity smoke detection detectors are used in applications requiring early warning and very early warning fire detection systems. The system continuously samples and monitors the ambient air. Within the same area, it analyzes airborne particles through multiple sampling holes, detecting particle size and concentration.

An air sampling detector can have one, two, or four channels depending on the manufacturer. The maximum length of a single air sampling channel is 100 meters, while a branched pipe system can reach up to 160 meters in total. The diameter and number of sampling holes on the air sampling pipe are determined using hydraulic calculation software based on the total pipe length. The spacing between sampling holes does not exceed 10 meters.

The system features blue LED and infrared beam technology, communication capability, and integration with different fire detection systems. It can operate independently or be monitored together with a fire control and alarm panel. It includes a built-in audible alarm system. A single high-sensitivity air sampling detector can provide coverage for areas up to 2000 m². Maintenance costs are low.
