Linear Heat Detector Cable
The cable-type linear heat detector sensor cable consists of two main components: a heat-sensitive polymer and separately insulated steel conductors. The insulated conductors are twisted together under spring pressure, then wrapped with a protective tape and covered with an outer sheath suitable for the installation environment.
When the heat-sensitive polymer reaches a fixed temperature threshold, it breaks down and separates from the conductors, allowing the conductors to come into contact with each other. This generates an alarm condition. The exact location of the alarm (in meters) can be monitored via a dedicated module, and the information is transmitted to the fire detection and monitoring panel. The LHD detection cable does not require calibration.
