Conventional Fire Detection Systems

As SF Fire & Ventilation Systems, our fire control panels are modular, microprocessor-controlled units designed as the central component of fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring reliable monitoring and rapid response.

Panel Structure and Technical Features

The fire control panel is designed with:

  • Modular construction
  • Wall-mounted installation capability
  • Minimum 1.5 mm thick steel enclosure
  • Oven-baked powder-coated housing

Each detection zone can support up to:

  • 30 devices per loop (detectors, manual call points, etc.)

The system is continuously monitored by a microprocessor-based control unit to ensure operational reliability.

System Monitoring and Indication

The fire control panel:

  • Continuously monitors all detection lines
  • Displays fault conditions via LED indicators
  • Provides separate visual and audible signals for fire, alarm, and fault conditions
  • Alerts users in case of loop or device malfunction
  • Allows single-person system testing

The panel interface supports multiple language options, including Turkish and other selectable languages.

Programming Functions

  • Zone testing
  • Zone isolation (disable/enable functions)
  • Sounder output control
  • System configuration modification
  • Automatic reset functionality
  • Fire alarm system testing

Power Supply System

The fire alarm system operates on 24 V DC power.

System configuration includes:

  • 220 V AC, 50 Hz main power input unit
  • 24 V DC regulated output
  • Sealed maintenance-free backup battery set
  • Automatic switch to battery power during mains failure

This ensures uninterrupted operation under all conditions.

Detection Devices

Optical Smoke Detectors

Optical smoke detectors operate based on the light scattering principle:

  • A pulsed infrared light beam is transmitted
  • Under normal conditions, the beam reaches the receiver
  • When smoke enters the chamber, the beam is scattered
  • Loss of signal triggers the alarm

Features:

  • Dual 180° LED indicators for status monitoring
  • Plug-in base design with no internal electronics in the socket
  • Easy installation and removal
  • Visual alarm indication on detector body
  • Operating range: 0°C to +55°C
  • Humidity tolerance: 20% – 95% RH

Fixed Temperature Detectors

These detectors activate when ambient temperature exceeds a preset threshold:

  • 58°C (135°F)
  • 88°C (190°F)

Features:

  • Dual LED status indicators
  • Plug-in base system for easy maintenance
  • Simple and reliable thermal detection mechanism
  • No electronics inside the base unit

Rate-of-Rise Heat Detectors

These detectors respond to both rapid and gradual temperature increases:

  • Instant alarm for sudden temperature rise
  • Activation at 58°C even in slow temperature increase scenarios
  • Dual-sensor design compares ambient and differential heat response
  • Enables early fire detection through rate-of-rise analysis

At SF Fire & Ventilation Systems, we provide advanced fire detection and control solutions that ensure early warning, high reliability, and full compliance with international fire safety standards.
