Mechanical Heat Detector

In areas with high levels of dust and contamination, a steel-sensor, metal-housed explosion-proof (Ex-proof) probe-type heat detector is used for heat detection. It operates based on a bimetal structure that short-circuits when exposed to heat and does not require external power supply.

The alarm temperature can be adjusted up to 190°C. It can be integrated into the system as either NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) contact. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +190°C, and the protection class is IP65.
