Emergency Exit Direction & Lighting

Emergency exit direction units are fire safety systems that automatically activate during emergencies such as fire, sabotage, flooding, or electrical failure when the main power supply is cut off. They ensure safe evacuation by illuminating escape routes when the main lighting system fails.

These systems guide occupants to exit points through directional signage, ensuring fast and safe evacuation. The primary purpose is to prevent loss of life, reduce panic and crowding, and provide controlled evacuation.

Emergency lighting and exit signage fixtures can be used as fixed or portable systems in long corridors, parking areas, factories, warehouses, and industrial facilities.

The system automatically activates during power failure. It includes LED indicators showing mains power presence and battery status. A built-in test button allows periodic system checks.

Devices operate on 220V AC 50Hz and include an internal rechargeable battery system. The initial charging time is 24 hours. The system withstands voltage fluctuations up to 285V. It switches to emergency mode below 150V and returns to charging mode above 185V.

Products with at least IP40 protection rating should be used. The system provides a minimum emergency operation time of 180 minutes. Operating temperature range is -16°C to +45°C.

Wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted, and door-top models are available. Directional signs use internationally recognized exit symbols.

Fire Safety Installation Guidelines

  • Exit doors must have directional signage
  • An external lighting unit should be installed beyond the final exit door
  • Corridors must be continuously illuminated
  • Direction signs must be placed at corridor turns
  • Staircases must be illuminated without shadow formation
  • A minimum of 5 Lux lighting must be provided within 2 meters of fire equipment
  • Continuous lighting must be ensured along escape routes
  • High-risk areas require a minimum of 15 Lux illumination
  • Lighting uniformity ratio must not exceed 1:10
